The guest accommodation is private and comprises one half of the restored farmhouse. Featuring a bedroom with king-sized bed, a well-appointed kitchen & bathroom, and a living area with a double sofa bed. There is a private terrace with views across treetops & the winding river, which reaches the sea a few km downstream at the award-winning beach of Odeceixe. Our home has been lovingly restored using upcycled and natural materials. The handbuilt house has half-metre thick rammed-earth walls, providing a cool respite from the summer heat and natural warmth in the evenings. The house is supplied with solar hot water. It offers a well-thought-out living space that combines the charm of natural materials with the comfort of modern amenities. The spacious bedroom has a double picture window allowing a beautiful view of the treetops and the morning sun. The kitchen area is bright and has a fridge, gas cooker, and a well-stocked supply of kitchen and dining equipment. The open-plan living area leads off from the kitchen and has a dining table with seating for four and a sofa bed that sleeps two. The bathroom is fully equipped and has a shower over the bathtub. There are two steps up into the house; other than that, it is on one level. To maintain the natural views, parking for guests is 20m below the house. As this is a hill farm, access is by a short but fairly steep track.
